Wedding in England

El fin de semana pasado estuve en la boda de mi amiga Verena en Horsham, un pueblito a las afueras de Londres. Una escena de cuento en la campiña inglesa. Estas son algunas fotos del sitio y de mi vestido para el Gran Dia.
Compré este vestido en una venta de muestrario en Spitafields, Londres, el año pasado. Y cada vez que me lo pongo me gusta más!! Es super cómodo y la seda sienta como un guante. El bolsito es el Amazona 12 ante/oro de Loewe.
Espero que os guste!
Por cierto, me voy de vacaciones 10 días, así que os veré a la vuelta. (Me voy a Bali, qué ganas! Volamos en unas horas a Bangkok y de ahí a Denpasar)

I went to Horsham last weekend for the wedding of my dear friend Verena. He got married in a very beautiful scene outside London, in the soo green countryside. Here are some pics from the outfit I wore for the big day. I bought this dress last year on a sample sale in Spitafields, London, and I love, love, love it! It is great fit, comfortable and pretty. The silk is fabulous. The little bag is the Amazona 12 gold/suede by Loewe.

Bienvenida Primavera!
Tuve la gran suerte de acudir a un desfile de Loewe en su tienda de Serrano-Madrid la semana pasada. Fue fantástico ver las increibles piezas para el otoño/invierno que ya en su momento se presentaron en Paris y en el Botánico de Madrid. Y, cómo no, llevé un genial y comodísimo vestido de esta temporada.
Precioso este modelo de mariposas en colores fuxias y verdes! Una seda maravillosa que se adapta al cuerpo con fabulosa sinergia.

Welcome Spring!
I had the chance to assist to a Loewe show on its flagship store in Madrid last week. It was soo great to see the incredible pieces for the following Autumn/Winter that were already presented in Paris and at the Botanic Garden in Madrid. Of course, I was dressed in Loewe with this amazingly beautiful and comfy silk dress from the current Spring season.
Shiny silk with butterflies, fuchsias, greens... on a perfect pattern.

New on the market, 214 Magazine

Esta semana he descubierto la 214 Magazine, un e-zine de Topshop con imagenes realmente inspiradoras. Esta semana, iba de bloggeras americanas. Y es cierto que los diseñadores de moda de gran nombre son Europeos, pero eso no quita que al fin, la moda made in america empiece a despuntar.
El estilo llega y llega para quedarse en los States, no os perdais a Emily Schuman y su Cupcakes&Cashmere, bonita mezcla de moda y recetas muy, muy dulces. O a Elisabeth Spiridaki en White Lightening, originales vintage pics y musica, todo en uno.
Y, por supuesto, no os perdais el 214 Magazine!

This week I have discovered the 214 Magazine, an e-zine by Topshop with incredible inspirational pictures. This week, it was about US bloggers. It is true that most well known designers are europeans, but a new consciousness is getting into US fashion skyline. And a new sense of style is emerging.
Don´t miss Emily Schuman and her Cupcakes&Cashmere, very nice mix of fashion and very sweet recipes. Or Elisabeth Spiridaki in White Lightening, original vintage pics and loads of music. All in one.

Un nuevo look con nuevos leopard print leggings. Sí, estos son tambien de Blanco, como el top tricot. Super cómodo!!
Mientras me arreglaba y hacía estas fotos, apareció mi Gata por la habitación. Así que le dediqué una foto porque está muy guapa! Se quedó alucinada frente a la ventana, no me extraña, con esos almedros taaaan bonitos!

Today´s inspiration: sun, spring and Zadig&Voltaire

Se ha levantado, al fin, la mañana más bonita del año. Y yo me he encontrado con estas maravillas en la red... y en las tiendas. ¿Por qué tiene que ser tan caro Zadig&Voltaire? Claro, una se enamora pronto de estas piezas, de esta campaña, del estilismo pseudopunk, pseudocasual y ultracomfy, pero los precios, no acompañan!! El día que pueda permitirme una camiseta, una chaqueta de cashmere con calavera, un reloj, un clutch... de Zadig&Voltaire, I´ll call it a day!

What a beautiful morning just woke up!! & I have found these treasures while surfing on the online boutiques.... Why is Zadig&Voltaire that crazy expensive? Of course, one can easily have a crush on these pretty pieces, the campaign, pseudopunk, pseudocasual, ultracomfy, but prices don´t get along with it!! The day I will be able to afford a t-shirt, one of these cashmere jumpers with skulls, one of these cool watches, a clutch... from Zadig&Voltaire, I´ll call it a day!

Leopard Print... there is nothing more punk than that

La inspiracion de hoy viene por una foto que encontré dando una vuelta por internet. Hace unos dias visité Blanco en Madrid, hacía mucho que no entraba, así que fue una grata sorpresa ver el nuevo look&feel de la tienda y encontrar un par de cosas que valían la pena. Me gustaron los legging de leopardo, me recordaron a esta foto que tenía en mi escritorio desde hace tiempo. Y me gustaron los accesorios: pendientes de plumas, colgante con cazasueños, brazaletes con python print...
El cielo estaba un poco gris para las fotos, pero parece ser que este fin de semana vuelve el buen tiempo. Por fin!!!

The Inspiration for this post comes from a photo that i found surfing on the internet. A few days ago I visited Blanco, Spanish easywearing fashion brand, and it was a very nice surprise to discover the new look&feel of the store and find a few things that I really like. First were these leopard print leggings, which reminded me of this photo I kept on my desk since long time ago. And I liked the accessories: feather earings, dreamcatcher necklaces, python print brazalets...
Sky was quite grey for pictures, but this weekend promises better weather, clearer, sunnier afternoons... Finally!!!
